In Canossa the past is renovated to relaunch the future

The architectural renovation of the historical theatre building was an answer to the request of the municipal administration to create equipped spaces to host the civic centre and youth activities.

The design solution adds value to the full renewal of the existing framework, which was almost crumbling due to age and wear. It was brought back to life to host new functions for today’s needs. At the same time the history of the building remains visible as well as the added elements of the renovation.

On the ground floor you enter the hall with double entrance and the space for temporary exhibitions as well as the library, the tourism office and a self-managed space for young people. On the upper floor there is a multi-functional room, with wooden ceiling beams, for meetings, parties, shows, concerts ad presentations. It is the pulsing heart of the social and cultural activities in Canossa.
