Historical, artistic and cultural heritage is not just a precious resource, but also a great responsibility for our country. The conservation of architectural works involves various interests since, in most cases, re-use is an essential condition to allow the correct management, the balance between the respect of the integrity of the existing structure and the intervention planned to add value to it is extremely delicate. The solution is an in-depth knowledge of the structure to be preserved, not only referring to its historical value, but also to it geometric, structural and conservative characteristics to make definitive and informed choices. The articulated and multidisciplinary analysis of the current state leads to a careful and cautious design, in respect of the international guidelines and the specific norms with the aim of giving back the use of the structure to the community.
