Feasibility study for the cycle lane to overcome the narrowing at the “Stretta del Pescale” point to continue the existing cycle lane on the left bank of the Secchia River
The feasibility study was focused on the extension towards the south of the existing cycle lane in the municipality of Castellarano on the left bank of the Secchia River and overcoming the narrowing point at the “stretta del Pescale” where the river bed is reduced because it enters into a gully with a rock formation rising from the ground.
The study included various ideas ranging from a level path that could be overcome by floods to various types of gangways attached to the rock formation that they can thus get by.
