The new pavilion for Women and Children in Careggi offers a new and modern building for the obstetrics and gynaecology clinics, delivery rooms, neonatologiy and artificial insemination, a point of reference for all of Tuscany.

The building houses diagnostics and the obstetrics emergency room with 15 clinics; the delivery block, with 4 labour/delivery rooms, 2 rooms for caesarian sections, the neonatology area and the nursery; the gynaecological surgery, with 4 operating theatres; the neonatology intensive care unit with 36 cribs; 105 bed spaces for obstetrics and gynaecology patients, in single or double rooms. The building, designed and directed by ATI with Binini Partners as legal representative and general manager of works along with Studio Altieri e Studio Casarosa-Restivo, is transparent and welcoming, with warm materials and luminous colors with dedicated works of art. It has a winter garden inside that families and children can use.
