Parco Lido leisure centre on the Enza River

Water, green areas and spaces equipped for sports and recreational activities

The old municipal swimming pool was re-qualified, extended and adjusted upon request by a cooperative of citizens and volunteers which was formed for this specific purpose. A vast park was created for recreational sports and leisure activities along the Enza Valley, between Parma and Reggio Emilia, just below the hills and castles of Canossa and Rossena in the heart of the lands of Matilda of Tuscany.

As well as swimming and aqua-gym, there are structures for five-a-side football, basketball, beach-volleyball and play areas for children as well as vast areas for sunbathing or shaded areas for relaxing and leisure. The new indoor pool will allow the activities to proceed all year long.

The green areas and the support structures for bars, restaurants, music and relational activities mean that daytime to evening parties and events can be organised all summer long, such as the Binini Partners “Summer Party” that the company organises for friends and clients for charity.
