Emiliana Conglomerati bitumen mix plant
In Val d'Enza
As well as environmental programs and cultivation plans for the extraction industry, a new technologically advanced plant was designed and created for Emiliana Conglomerati for the production of bitumen mixes. The location is along the course of the Enza Valley, at the press in San Polo d’Enza, in the province of Reggio Emilia. It is an innovative plant for the production of special, high-quality mixes aimed at the safety and durability of road infrastructures, as well as the sustainability of production techniques, which are performed in the heart of the lands of Matilda of Tuscany, not far from Canossa.
Beside the structural work and installation of the industrial equipment, developed in their intrinsic simplicity and efficiency, the complete reordering of the plant and its positioning in the landscape was considered with a rigorous design of the towers and emerging elements.
The finishing touch was the issue of authorisation relating to environmental placing and the coordination with the landscape along the Val d’Enza, in an area of great value between the castes of San Polo d’Enza and Montecchio Emilia on the Reggio Emilia side and Montechiarugolo on the Parma side.
