The Co-clinical Project, Institute for Oncologic Research and Advanced Cardiac and Cancer Care, is “The Smart Environmentally Friendly Hospital Project”, drafted with the HMFP-BIDMC in Boston, for Rome Tor Vergata.
This is an innovative structure of excellence where research and clinical work are integrated with the fundamental aim of applying the new treatments to patients to reduce the death rate from cancer and cardiovascular complications.
The project transforms the Boston experience, using architecture, structure and technology, in a concrete reality, a new model of hospital that integrates building and research, with the Mouse Hospital and a patient healthcare clinic, with all the most advanced diagnostic and operating structures and, normal and intensive care patient rooms, out-patient spaces and rooms for training and teaching.
