The Port of San Teodoro

Protected marine area, tourist and fishing port, navigation safety, innovation and design

The new tourist and fishing port is being created in one of the most beautiful seaside location in the world, south of the protected marine area of Tavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo, at the end of the “Cinta”, a marvellous 6 km white sand beach that encloses the lagoon of San Teodoro. The port is being created as planned by the Sardinian regional government with the utmost respect for the extraordinary environment.

The project includes spaces for 500 boats with every possible amenity at their service including a shopping centre, sports areas, yacht clubs, port authority offices, control tower, boat storage and assistance.

The executive project of the first lot, winner of the integrated tender was drafted by RTI composed of Binini Partners, as main assignee, and by Studio Ballerini assignee and is referred to the work for the activation of the first 105 equipped boat places, more than 30 wharfs and includes innovative solutions for the design and comfort of morning, reduction of internal wave movement and navigation safety.
