With great pleasure, at the end of 2021, we visited, together with our entire team, the construction site of the new IRCCS Galeazzi in the MIND Milano Innovation District, designed by Binini Partners. After years of intense work and great commitment, it was an opportunity to touch the quality of our design first hand.

The hospital, in an advanced stage of construction, already boasts numerous firsts: in addition to applying to represent, together with the Human Technopole and the Università Statale, one of the cornerstones of the future ecosystem of research, innovation and care, it is the first construction site started in the former Expo area. With its 90 m high it will be the first tall hospital in Italy and the eighth in Europe and, thanks to the careful and innovative design approach, it was awarded the CNETO AWARD 2019 – “BEST PROJECT”, the first private hospital to use public to achieve it.

We also invited the students who attend the II Level “Master Hospitals” in “Planning, Programming and Design of Hospital and Socio-Health Systems” of the Politecnico di Milano to the visit. On this occasion the students were able to compare themselves with a unique project in Italy and one of the most advanced in Europe; innovative and cutting-edge both from a functional and organizational point of view, as well as from a structural and technological point of view.
